A Bit Of A Break

Hello my lovely readers.  I've got some more sad news, sadly my boyfriend and I were not able to work out the issues that came up for us while I was in New York so for the next few weeks we will be doing the impossible task of separating stuff, crying it out and deciding who keeps the apartment.  As you can imagine, along with starting classes and work and having my sick puppy, I will be rather busy and exceedingly drained.  For these reasons I'm going to be taking a bit of a break from blogging till everything settles down.  I hope you guys won't forget me and in the mean time I would love any encouragement, kind words or advice you might have for me.  Until then...

What I'm Listening To:
The new Kelly Clarkson album, yeh, it's like that

  2. just began following your blog. sorry to hear about the bad news. if it makes you feel any better, i love your blog. it's like my imagination come to life through fashion and influence. cuddle with your puppy dog, have a cup of earl grey, cry it out, and eventually the wisdom and experience will add to the pattern of your life. if you are up for it, i write a humor blog that might cheer you up, or at the very least, make you shake your head and wonder why you opened it :)

  3. Aww thanks so much for the comments guys. And Janelle welcome to my blog, I will certainly check out yours. I could use a good giggle. The upside is I just got a great new job and I'm checking out a new apartment this weekend. Unfortunately, my ex has comundeered the computer he gave me so until then my internet connection is a bit unreliable. However, I promise once I get a new one I've got plenty of great pics and thoughts stored up to share. Thanks for the support, it means the world to me!

  5. Oh sweetness.. Chin up. I'm so sorry - if you need anything, even just an objective ear that isn't involved or a picture of a kitten dressed as a cat (I have both) let me know. xo

  6. Thanks so much guys! And Sues and Chels, I may take you up on that, I could really use a glass of wine with some girls. Funny thing about relationships is that the amount of girls in your life, especially ones that aren't connected to your relationship, seems to decrease. I'm sad to say that this breakup has gotten really ugly and the level to which he is willing to be cruel to me is beyond upsetting. I'm trying to keep my chin up and take the high road but its hard. I'm tired of crying and being angry, but I don't see an end to either just yet. Again thanks so much for the support and pictures of animals being dressed up are always welcome.

  7. Of course we would not forget you!
You just take your time to wallow, then get back on your feet, and don't let him keep you from doing what you do best.
Good luck with your classes, and I hope that your puppy feels better. That's the pits.

As Scarlet O'Hara says, "Tomorrow is another day!"

  8. Aww thanks Lauren, I love Gone with the Wind. I may have to dig out that DVD and remember that things could be worse. It looks like I'm keeping my apartment and I've found two sweet girls to be my roommates. I can't say my ex has gotten any nicer but at least he is staying with a friend. Being in the apartment all by myself is lonely though. My little doggy still seems to be doing ok, he loves being off his prescription food and getting yummy home cooked food his mommy makes for him(spoiled dog!). Thanks so much for all your comments and I promise to post soon. I'm working on getting a new computer as we speak.
